Child Support Enforcement

Division of Child Support Enforcement

The Rockcastle County Attorney’s Office Division of Child Support Enforcement is here to serve our community by helping to ensure that child support orders are enforced efficiently and professionally.  We believe that effective child support enforcement has a direct impact on future generations.  The office has a number of functions including, but not limited to, establishing child support and medical support orders, establishing paternity for children born out of wedlock, seeking enforcement of child support and medical support orders, and locating absent parents.

Confidentiality and privacy are a necessity in all child support cases.  As a result, picture identification must be provided to obtain private information such as an MPI # or payment history from our office.  Only those who are parties to a case will be given information for that case.  Also, please remember to bring all documentation you may have from court proceedings, as well as birth certificates and custody orders, when filling out an application for child support.

Any person seeking the assistance of the Child Support Office may contact the office located at 205 Richmond Street, by mail at P.O. Box 1250, Mt. Vernon, KY, 40456, or by phone at (606) 256-5125.   If you need to provide documentation to our office, you may do so via fax at (606) 256-2585.
